The body on our project car is going to need a lot of work. Although it looks rough in these pictures, it's only really bad trouble spot is around the rear window. Rust has done a lot of damage to the "C" pillar on the passengers side, and along the bottom edge of the back window. There's a couple of minor rust spots on the roof. The quarter panels look and feel pretty solid. The car still has it's rear suspension in it. I think that saved the quarter panels because they weren't sitting directly on the ground. I haven't seen the floorboards yet. I've got my fingers crossed that they won't be too bad.

 

The front half of the car will be all new sheet metal. The doors, fenders, and hood will be all new (even the front inner fenderwells). There shouldn't be too much body work involved with the bolt ons, although I'm thinking about filling in the door handles/locks.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't remember how a lot of this car goes back together? So I ordered a "Body by Fisher" 1967 Service Manual off of eBay. It looks like a "must have" manual.
